  1. Ilana, You found some great tools here. I especially like Visuwords as my students always prefer to use online dictionaries and this allows them to see the connections between words. It is really interesting looking and more interactive than most online dictionaries.

  2. Ilana, I think that it is great that you were able find great resources and tools for each of the five components of the ELA standard. In my classroom I create many presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint as well as Prezi for introductions of lessons and art critiques. VoiceThread is an interesting tool that I would definitely like to try in in my classroom for my presentations and critiques, Thanks!

  4. I am currently doing a project with my students using voicethread and it has been awesome. One of the many benefits is that it allows those students who may have a tough time speaking in front of a group practice what they are going to say and perfect it before it is recorded.
